The Lodge

Bethlehem PA

The Lodge provides housing, a supportive community and vocational opportunities for adults with mental health challenges. According to individual preferences, the members live independently in scattered rental properties in the neighborhood. The Lodge offers flexible jobs at the Café the Lodge and daily educational and recreational programs. The program is largely consumer-run. The Lodge supports its members to establish a wholesome lifestyle and affirms their self-determination and inherent ability to create productive and meaningful lives.

The Sanctuary at Haafsville

Breinigsville PA

The Sanctuary is a community resource which will enrich the lives of its resident animals and members of the community in an environmentally sound facility by promoting programs that encourage interaction between people and animals to the benefit of both.

The Shaunice Jarjous Memorial Scholarship Fund

Whitehall PA

The Shaunice Jarjous Memorial Scholarship is given to a senior student at both Whitehall High School as well as Northwestern Lehigh High School where Shaunice was a Cheerleader and on the Track Team. Students are eligible for the scholarship for being above average in their academics as well as members of either the football team or cheerleading squad for whom Shaunice participated at both schools. Each year Shaunice's family and friends gather for a fundraiser, past events have included dodgeball tournaments and Pool Parties!

Third Street Alliance for Women and Children

Easton PA

Third Street Alliance for Women and Children is an established social service agency in historic downtown Easton, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for members of the community, with special emphasis on women and children. In support of this, it provides services to meet the basic needs of individuals and families, and provide tools to promote personal development, responsibility and citizenship. From its beginning in 1909 as a grassroots YWCA, it has served the community and worked to meet the needs of a changing world. In its earlier days, it provided opportunities for physical, mental, and social development and offered rental rooms for many women migrating to the area. Today, Third Street Alliance offers a resident shelter for homeless women and their children, an accredited child care serving many low income families, and compassionate adult day services for a fragile population and their caregivers.

Unity House

Bethlehem PA

Unity House is a Vocational Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program for individuals whom have been diagnosed with a mental disability. There are currently over 600 members and Unity House is funded by Northampton County MH/MR and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. At Unity House we are working to educate others about mental illness and make every effort to find meaningful employment for our members to enter, or return to the work force.
